As hosts of the 2017 Archery Nationals, we welcomed Canada, now Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada is welcoming the World. No setting could be better for those who love the outdoors. Our name means “Lake of the Elk, or Lake of the red Deer’s, and with over 100 lakes within 100 miles, you can fish, camp in one of 1,300 beachside campsites, paddle our World-Renowned Canoe Circuit, explore Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park (an island with over 230 species of birds), or discover wildlife, history, fauna, or our unique multiculturalism, all in accordance with our “Welcoming by Nature “motto.
An Athlete’s Village will be hosted in our 233,000 square foot $60 million dollar “Bold Centre” showcasing our unique and varied multiculturalism; allowing for time to interact and meet fellow participants, to exchange t-shirts and pins. You will be hosted like never before and have plenty opportunity to enjoy your visit to Lac La Biche, Alberta, and Canada.
